Great angle. Is this a new hotel? I haven't been back to Chgo since 2007 and don't remember this. Going back in June and can't wait.

Tintin: I think it opened sometime last year... I was following a path of light posts along E Wacker Drive, planning a photo, when I spied this tower and went off-course.

Makes me want to take my giant hands and pat all the pieces back in line, sort of like how you bang a stack of paper on the desk to align all the sheets before you staple them.
I like it.

Great photo! I love this building...did a blog post on it a few years ago. It was designed by a woman architect, Jeanne Gang. I don't think there are many women out there designing skyscrapers. I think this one really stands out.
